“Terrible service and completely unprofessional management. As an existing client who paid for my full treatment upfront, my appointment was scheduled over 11 weeks in advance, giving them more than enough time to ensure proper staffing. Yet, they canceled on me at the last minute with zero concrete solutions, even suggesting I travel to Orlando—showing they don't even pay attention to where their clients live. Since relocating to this location, the experience has been a disaster and completely lacking in customer satisfaction. To make matters worse, while they completely fail to accommodate existing clients who have already paid, I verified that they continue aggressively pushing to take on brand-new customers they cannot possibly handle—a shady practice I’ve seen countless other clients complaining about in their reviews. They have zero operational organization and unmatched cynicism. Save your money and look elsewhere if you expect actual service.”

“I had the best first experience here! The experience from the second I walked in, to the treatment plan, & the actual appointment was phenomenal! Everyone there made me feel so comfortable for my first visit, Highly recommend all of these awesome ladies!”

“I’m giving Removery 2 stars. The staff in the office are friendly, professional, and good at what they do, and I have seen good progress since my first treatment in May 2025. Unfortunately, my experience with scheduling has been very frustrating. I had treatments scheduled for August and October so I could remain consistent with the removal process. My August appointment suddenly disappeared from the app without any notification. When I called, I was told there would be no one available in the office to perform the treatment and that there were no openings to reschedule me before my October appointment. I have paid more than $3,000 for this removal, yet I am completely dependent on a schedule that often has very limited availability. Since my consultation in May 2025, I have only been able to receive seven treatments. For a service that requires consistency over a long period of time, I do not think that is acceptable. What is especially frustrating is that there does not appear to be any priority given to existing patients whose appointments are canceled by the office. I understand that staffing issues happen, but when the business cancels an appointment, I believe the patient should be offered a reasonable opportunity to be rescheduled rather than simply being pushed back another two months. At this point, I feel stuck in an extended treatment process after already paying in full. While I have been pleased with the staff and the results of the treatments themselves, I would not recommend Removery based on the difficulty maintaining a consistent treatment schedule.”

“I had previously left a positive review after having a great experience here. However, on Friday afternoon this past week, an employee called to cancel my upcoming appt (which is scheduled months in advance). The employee stated the whole staff is out of office at a training and she has been calling everyone to cancel. I have my previously scheduled next appt scheduled for next month and they were not able to accommodate me sooner. Here's my issue: When was the all-staff training scheduled and how can you just cancel everyone's appts with no alternative to reschedule them? I am getting 10 tattoos removed and paid a substantial amount of money up front. This slows my process and is extremely inconvenient from a planning perspective. I am a healthcare provider and block my schedule out to accomplish these appts. I have moved standing patients of mine to make these appts and now I am not getting my tattoo removed in the expected timeframe AND I'm not working/making money/seeing my own patients. To call on a Friday afternoon, gives me no time to reschedule my own patients. This is so unprofessional and really frustrating. I'd love to have a conversation with someone in a leadership position. “My frustrations are primarily about my overall experience dealing with the staff, rather than results of the treatment. Dealing with these Guys is an overall disappointment! If you’re like me, you’ll end up spending your hard earned money either dealing with someone who couldn’t give one crap less about you, or someone who lacks professionalism enough to give you a reasonable explanation why they are cancelling your appointment and forcing you to wait another two-three months for another opening! Just has not been a very fun experience dealing with these Guys!”

“I've been going here for awhile now. I had an appointment today and had Ivana as my tech for the first time. I forgot my "pain ball" in the car. I asked her for one right before we started. We were having a conversation and we both forgot about the pain ball. Her down to earth personality put me at ease and I honestly don't remember feeling any pain. I highly recommend Ivana! She's great!”

“Would not recommend. I reached out to complain and management was supposed to reach out and they never did. Go anywhere else, this whole service has dragged out. Customer service sucks. I spent $3,000 and now have to pay someone else to do it. I dont know how they get good reviews, people must be scared to speak up cause they are locked in with the forever treatment. Even the customer service via email can’t handle the situation.”

“Made me wait over 30 mins and prices were crazy high. Quoted me 1000 for a tattoo that is the size of a quarter and has already had treatment. It only needed like two treatments. Wasted my time.”

“*** update to the update!*** A year in and I still fullly stand by my review! Everyone has been really great to work with. They are kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The studio atmosphere and enviornment has been consistent. Its clean, comfortable, relaxing vibe. I've had zero issues with the removal process - I've had no blistering, no scaring, no infection, nothing alarming. Red? Yes. Swelled? Yes. Sore? Yes. But all normal! Im so thankful to have Removery as my resource for full tattoo removal. I had a large, colorful piece - so my journey is a long one... not sure if be able to stick it out anywhere else. I feel so good about my decisions to remove and to do that through Removery. *** update to original post *** 4th visit down and everyone is still incredibly awesome!! The facility is always super clean! The rooms are large, and bright. Aftercare is super easy! Ice and vasoline are my bffs. After just a few sessions on each tattoo, I can already see fading. It's really exciting to see my authentic skin peeking through! I still stand by my original.post! Highly recommend! A++ Best experience! Renee and Daleena were both very down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I felt really comfortable in the office - and Renee's demeanor made it easy for me to take the leap and start my tattoo removal journey. “If you’re a new client, you’ll have no problem getting an appointment. However, if you’re an existing client and need to reschedule within the same month, forget it. They simply tell you they’ll put you on a waiting list, but they never call you back with an opening that same month. What I don’t understand is that the procedure itself only takes about 5 minutes, so it’s hard to believe they can’t accommodate existing clients who need to reschedule. Other businesses are able to fit returning clients in much more easily. What’s even more confusing is that the office often appears to be empty when I visit, yet they still claim they have no availability. It makes loyal, returning clients feel like they’re not a priority once they’ve already become customers. I think they should improve their scheduling system and reserve some flexibility for existing clients who need to reschedule.”

“Went in today for a consultation and ended up following through to get my tatoo removed. First session went well! I’ve used them before and their machines are legit and most definitely work! Quick, easy, in and out, with good prices! Pain wasn’t too bad and overall took about 2 minutes on a large area. Kayla did a really good job of vocalizing and coaching through the process. Looking forward to the rest of my sessions.”

“I only leave negative reviews when I feel it’s absolutely necessary. My experience with Removery has been extremely frustrating. During my very first appointment, I made it clear that I was there to have two tattoos removed, yet they only treated one of them. That was the first red flag. Then, an appointment that I had scheduled more than a month in advance was cancelled because they said they “wouldn’t have anyone in the office that day.” Now my second treatment won’t be happening until 12 weeks after my first appointment, even though I was told treatments should be about every 8 weeks. Delays like that can affect the treatment timeline and are extremely inconvenient. Communication has also been terrible. They almost never answer the phone, so if I need to speak with someone, I have to physically drive to the office. Unfortunately, this is the only Removery location in the Tampa area, so I don’t have another location to work with.”

“Beware! If you have a large Tattoo and you will be going there for a couple of years, the patient care you receive definitely gets worse as you go along. Especially if you pay everything all upfront. Everything was great for the first year and since then it’s been nothing but annoying appointment changes, rescheduling issues, an area of My skin accidentally got treated by a laser so now I am burned, and they are not the friendliest anymore like they used to be. It’s definitely gone downhill. I don’t know if it’s because they received my money paid in full upfront so they don’t care about that anymore, or if the place in general has gotten worse over the last couple years. My last several appointments have left me very disappointed dealing with customer service. When I try and reschedule an appointment, nothing is available for months. When they need to reschedule me it’s “take what we’ve got or else we’ll see you at your next visit “.”

“I’ve had Kayla for my last three tattoo removal sessions, and she is wonderful! She’s always kind, makes sure I’m comfortable before starting, and checks in with me throughout the treatment. She is also incredibly fast and efficient. It honestly takes longer to get my drink from the Starbucks next door—and they’re fast too—than it does for Kayla to complete my session. She makes an uncomfortable process as easy as possible. Highly recommend Kayla and Removery!”
