The process, timeline, and expectations were clearly communicated, including photos of tattoos very similar to the one I wanted removed. First treatment was available following the orientation and registration. Took less than 5 minutes, and I was sent home with an aftercare kit and ice pack. “Caley was great and very nice. She explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. She was realistic with me and made sure to break down the process in depth with me. I had a great consult with her. Update, I just had my first session and it went great! They helped me set up a treatment plan and talked me through the entire process. All of my questions were answered, no matter how many I had. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. “They demand you sign away the right for them to use any images they get of you to them or any of their corporate partners and then ask for a bunch of random info like eye color and stuff. The lady got annoyed when i started asking questions but the reasons she gave for it didn't add up when I went to a smaller more local shop and talked to them about it.”

“I have been a client at the Portland, Oregon location for several years, working on the removal of a single tattoo. I have completed 13 sessions and have seen good progress, though my removal is not yet complete. On Saturday afternoon, February 7, I received a phone call informing me that my appointment scheduled for Friday, February 13 would be cancelled, and that I needed to call to reschedule. Since then, I have called every day, multiple times a day, in an attempt to reschedule. No one has answered the phone, and none of my messages have been returned. This is extremely frustrating, particularly because appointments at this location typically book out months in advance. I had already waited the required time between treatments, and further delays unnecessarily extend the overall removal process.In addition to this, I purchased the unlimited package, which comes with an expectation that treatments will be reasonably accessible and scheduled on an ongoing basis. The lack of communication and inability to reschedule has been very discouraging.”

Original review below---- After 2 sessions, I've been really pleased with the results so far. Paige and Jana make the experience comfortable and fun, and I appreciate their attention to detail. We're removing part of my sleeve tattoo and I was really impressed with how precisely they can remove portions of a single piece. Even if you're just thinking about fading, and then reworking an existing tattoo, you should book a consultation!”

“Gotta wonder about these 5 star reviews and disappearing negative ones. Removery has flashy marketing and cheerful staff but then it’s “good luck actually using the unlimited removal package”. It’s a FOUR MONTH wait for appointments, I don’t know any medical office with that long of a backlog. So if you have to reschedule you’re looking at maybe 2 or 3 sessions a year…my progress has been really slow. They finally released a useless buggy app but I can only modify an appointment I made over the phone, and can’t create new ones?!? Calling their number it’s 10% chance someone picks up. Please hire another tech and develop a functioning app so we can actually USE the service we paid for. Don’t give a generic “sorry, contact us at email address” pls provide actual assurance and plan 🙏”

“The phone is never answered, and the time between appointments is incredibly long. I have seen progress on my tattoo removal, but the process is slow with only 3 or so appointments each year. It's hard to be positive about the experience when it will likely be 3+ years by the time I am done removing one small tattoo given the limited availability of appointments.”

“Updating my review because I feel this business has gone downhill. I’ve had 12 sessions and I’m not happy with the progress on my tattoos fading, I think I will need 20+ at this rate. They are also booked out 5 months at this point, which seems unacceptable for existing customers who have paid $$$$ and didn’t get Black Friday deals (the reason for the overloaded schedule). I would shop around for a better business before choosing Removery.”
