“Mekena was awesome. Super laid back and informative. Shes had tattoos removed, so she knows what you’re going through. She gave an estimate of how long it would take, offered a stress ball, reminded me multiple times I could take a break if needed, and even does a little test at the beginning so you know how it’ll feel. I went into it thinking this would be the worst pain ever, but honestly it isn’t that bad. No need for the stress ball or breaks. She started with the black which stings the most, and after that, the color felt like nothing. If you can handle a tattoo, you can handle this. Wish I had started this sooner.”
