“I had a very disappointing experience with Removery Tattoo Removal and regret choosing them to remove two small line-work finger tattoos. The problems started during the consultation. The pricing process seemed disorganized, and after spending over 30 minutes reviewing information, I was quoted nearly $5,000 to remove two small finger tattoos, which I found extremely expensive. Unfortunately, the treatments themselves were just as disappointing. During my first session, the technician appeared disorganized, even dropping equipment and changing the laser settings during the treatment. Afterward, my hand developed severe blisters, significant swelling, and intense pain that lasted for more than a week. I couldn’t properly use my hand, which caused me to miss work and lose income. My second visit was no better. When I arrived, I wasn’t greeted or acknowledged by the front desk. During the treatment, I felt the cooling air wasn’t being used effectively, making the procedure extremely painful. The discomfort became so intense after the first finger that I actually offered to help hold the laser device so the technician could continue, and she agreed. I never expected to be assisting during a procedure I was paying premium prices for. After the third session, I decided I couldn’t continue. Despite the pain, recovery time, and missed work, I saw little to no improvement in my tattoos. I contacted Removery’s corporate office to explain my experience. After several days and speaking with multiple representatives, they agreed that a refund was appropriate. However, they only issued a partial refund, charging me $743 per session (a total of $2,229) despite the issues I experienced and the minimal results. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve had. Between the high cost, painful treatments, lack of noticeable results, and the way my concerns were handled, I cannot recommend Removery based on my experience.”

The laser technicians were estheticians who mainly do facials and handled tattoo removal as a side job for extra income. That lack of specialization was obvious. In the first session, the technician was disorganized, dropped equipment, and used the wrong settings mid-treatment. This caused a severe burning reaction, my hand blistered badly, swelled up, and I was in significant pain for over a week and a half. I couldn’t work or use my hand properly and lost income as a result. The second session was even worse. The consultant ignored me completely when I arrived, no greeting or acknowledgment. Then a new technician treated me. She didn’t properly use the cooling air meant to protect the skin. The pain became unbearable after one finger. I was in so much discomfort that I offered to hold the laser machine myself so she could continue. She agreed, and I ended up assisting with my own treatment while paying premium prices. The third session followed a similar unprofessional pattern. At that point, I gave up. My tattoos showed almost no improvement, I had lost work time and money, and the experience caused real physical harm. I contacted Removery headquarters and explained everything. After several days and being passed between people, they agreed a refund was appropriate but ultimately only provided a partial one, charging $743 per session (totaling $2,229) despite the lack of results and the issues I faced. This was one of the most unprofessional and disappointing experiences I’ve had with any service. Removery charges high-end prices but delivered poor care, unqualified staff oversight, and inadequate support. “Marsha is the best tattoo removal laser tech. This is coming from someone who has been to other Removery locations because I am a traveling nurse. Let’s be real, nobody wants to sit there and get lasered but it is the only way you are going to see results. Not only is she fast yet meticulous but is very knowledgeable and confidently answered all my of my questions. Though I already have been through a few sessions already, she still explains the process, what to expect and advices on how to properly take care of the tattoo with the proper aftercare. She made sure I was comfortable and even gave me this sterile pillow to relax on. She seemed to genuinely care. Plus she is hella funny too so that helped with my nerves 😆 Thank you Marsha!
