“My experience at Removery’s Camp Creek location has been extremely disappointing. When they were selling me the removal package, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Unfortunately, that level of service disappeared after I paid. Multiple appointments were canceled only hours beforehand. On another occasion, I arrived and was not informed in advance that the handpiece needed to properly target blue ink was unavailable. This unnecessarily delays an already lengthy removal process. The technician then dismissed my concern by claiming that the handpiece used for black ink would remove blue ink just as effectively—an explanation that contradicts established information about wavelength-specific laser treatment. The protective glasses I was given were also extremely dirty, which raised serious concerns about the location’s hygiene standards. Additionally, the technician did not appear experienced or confident in performing the treatment, which made the entire experience even more concerning. The worst part was how I was treated during my most recent visit. The staff member was cold and unfriendly from the beginning and repeatedly tried to push my appointment to other locations, despite Camp Creek being the most convenient location for me. She was extremely resistant to finding me another appointment at Camp Creek. Only after I repeatedly insisted did she offer me one appointment, claiming it was the only and last available time. When I returned to my car, I realized that the appointment conflicted with another commitment. I opened the app to reschedule it and immediately saw several available appointments at Camp Creek—not just the single “last” appointment she had claimed was available. Because I was concerned that the app might not be accurate, I returned to the reception desk and simply asked her to confirm that my rescheduled appointment was correct. Her expression immediately changed, and she responded with a hostile, dismissive “Fine.” I cannot know her motive, but the combination of misleading information, hostility, and markedly different treatment left me feeling extremely singled out and discriminated against, potentially because of my race or immigrant background. No customer should leave a business wondering whether prejudice influenced how they were treated. I intend to continue my tattoo-removal treatment with Removery because I already purchased the package, but I will not return to the Camp Creek location. Repeated last-minute cancellations, unavailable equipment without notice, questionable hygiene, an apparently inexperienced technician, misleading scheduling information, and disrespectful treatment are completely unacceptable. Based on other public reviews, it appears that multiple customers have reported similar concerns involving this location and/or the same technician. What is especially troubling is that Removery does not appear to be taking meaningful action to address this recurring pattern.”

“I went for my first session of tattoo removal. I started getting tattoos when i was very young and now regret all of them. Brittanie was very helpful and pleasant. I appreciate her giving me my multiple options for pricing and being supportive during my first session. One of my tattoos are almost gone after the first session (wish i would have just paid session by session for that one as I don’t believe i will need more than one more session for it to be completely gone), I opted for the unlimited sessions option which now I am regretting because I definitely won’t get the value of the unlimited session package bc the first session almost completely removed one of my tattoos. The other tattoo will need a few sessions before it starts disappearing so at least I’ll get my ultimate wish of tattoo removal. I recommend Removery for aging who wants professional and ultimately the removal of their tattoos”
