“Haven’t had any issues treatment, scheduling, and customer service wise up until now. My appointment for this Friday 7/31 was cancelled on 7/29. I was sent a text saying that I can be put on a priority list for the Decatur location, which I wanted. I called every single studio here in Ga and not a single one answered. Why does nobody answer the phone. It’s ridiculous and makes it hard to get questions answered. I texted back whichever staff member texted me on 7/29, I responded SAME DAY… still no answer about this said “priority list” or anything, I then went ahead and scheduled online for a different location for SEPTEMBER. It’s so frustrating and I’d like to know why there isn’t any staff at the Decatur location and for how long???? It was never stated and it’s extremely inconvenient. I understand it may be out of their control but at least answer the phone or respond to texts when clients call with questions regarding that.”

“I truly had a great experience at removery! During my consultation I did become very emotional as the tattoos I am wanting to remove are tied to past trauma. She was so caring and sensitive and made amazing recommendations for after care once my removal is complete. Additionally, I could tell she was very knowledgeable and wanted the best results for me. I could feel the genuine concern. I love removery and I can’t wait to start this journey with them!”

“I came in with my boyfriend and it felt as though the attendant paid more attention to him than me (he doesn’t have any tattoos) so my appointment felt ruined and the attention wasn’t fully about me despite me spending money… also unrelated I asked her to refer to me as Ms. (my last name) to remain professionalism, and she refused, saying that she isn’t my student and I don’t even remember her telling me her name at all but I do know in a medical setting that’s typically how patients are referred. Furthermore, As soon as I got in the back room she immediately began asking me about the man I was with , and if he was my boyfriend which wasn’t the point of my appointment … anyways, she began the tattoo removal process and at the complete end she pointed the laser directly in my eye, causing me to have floaters. I will be going to a different location as well as contacting my lawyer. I understand my man is attractive, but to be so jealous you put my health at risk is obscene and disgusting and is probably the reason you can’t find one.”

“The staff is so kind and professional, but scheduling is constantly a nightmare. I haven't had a session in months because they keep cancelling my appointments. Then, it's weeks before I can get another appointment, which then they cancel that one. They only have one practitioner who can perform the procedure making it even more difficult to schedule.”

“I have been to this location twice now, and the laser technician’s behavior was extremely disappointing and unprofessional both times. I used to live in New York, and I’ve probably had 10 tattoo removal sessions total with removery. I never had a single issue with any of the locations in New York. Both times I have received treatment in Decatur, my skin has been inflamed and irritated beyond belief (I attached a photo of the tattoo after treatment). This is very unusual and has not been my experience in the past. On top of that, Nicey was disrespectful. She seemed irritated that I was five minutes early to my appointment, and kept reiterating that I would have to wait until she was ready. When I went back into the room to receive my treatment, she proceeded to tell me that she “forgot what skin condition” I had, and asked what it was. My hands are dry from the cold weather, and she assumed I had eczema (I don’t) and told me that I should see a dermatologist and get a prescription for some kind of ointment. I have no idea what that has to do with removing my tattoos. She had an issue with the shirt I was wearing, told me that it was too tight, and said that I would have to wear only my jacket after the treatment (two of my tattoos are on my ribs). When I told her that I was going to wear the shirt, she asked me if I had a problem with her. She made me feel uncomfortable and awkward before I had received any form of treatment. The laser treatment itself took so much longer than it needed to — I felt like Nicey was moving slowly through the process on purpose. And considering how many appointments I have had, I found her extensive aftercare instructions to be patronizing. I normally do not feel the need to write reviews about bad customer service, but my experience with her needs to be addressed. I would like to feel comfortable when receiving laser treatments because the experience is already painful both mentally and physically. I am very unimpressed and I hope that she is held accountable. I felt targeted.”

Instead of just selling me a session, they were completely honest and told me I wasn't a good candidate for laser removal of the blowout as it might remove the entire tattoo. I was so impressed by their integrity—they clearly care more about the client's results than making a quick buck. ​Beyond the honesty, they were kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all my questions. They even gave me great advice and recommendations for other ways to fix the piece while preserving its original meaning.
