“I originally left a 5-star review for Removery because the staff at the Back Bay location are consistently friendly and professional. That part hasn’t changed. However, I’m updating my review based on the actual treatment outcome. I had five tattoo removal sessions in Dallas prior to coming to this location, with no hypopigmentation. After starting treatment here (7 sessions total), I developed clear hypopigmentation in the area where red pigment was treated. This change is visible across the clinic’s own pre- and post-treatment photos and began during the course of treatment at this location. Treatment to that area was eventually discontinued. I’ve followed all aftercare instructions closely, including strict sun protection. When I raised this concern, I was told that this is a known and expected risk of laser tattoo removal and that no compensation, corrective treatment, or referral could be offered. I was told that I should wait for potential improvement over time. It had been over a year with no signs of improvement. I understand that pigment changes can occur, but the outcome in my case is a worse cosmetic result than before treatment, and I paid $1,600 for services. I’m sharing this so others can make an informed decision and understand both the potential risks and how they may be handled if they occur. If Removery is open to working toward a resolution, I would welcome that conversation.”

“I've been going to the back bay location for 3 years now. My tattoo was very dense and dark, and has been very stubborn, but is looking so much better now. From the beginning, they set me up with a plan and were realistic about goals for me. The laser technicians are super knowledgeable and always very kind. They make an unpleasant treatment as pleasant as possible. I would highly recommend them if you need to get rid of a tattoo. They're the best!”
