“Updating my review: After a very stressful and frustrating ordeal following an adverse physical reaction from my first session, I was initially met with cold, dismissive responses from corporate customer care representatives who insisted on a strict 'no-refund' policy. However, my case was eventually escalated to Removery’s Medical Director, Dr. Weitz. I deeply appreciate Dr. Weitz taking the time to call me directly, hear my concerns, and thoroughly explain the clinical healing process with genuine empathy and medical professionalism. He personally ensured my package contract was canceled and adjusted my financing down to just the single completed session, completely waiving any penalty or administrative fees. While Dr. Weitz’s intervention was exceptional and I am grateful for his accountability, the overall experience was still souring. Getting medical concerns taken seriously should not require escalating past dismissive gatekeepers to the highest level of leadership. I am thankful for Dr. Weitz making things right, but I strongly encourage leadership to train their frontline care team to handle client concerns with the same professionalism.”

“I am deeply disappointed with the consumer care and safety standards at this location. I financed a multi-session removal package and suffered a severe adverse reaction following my very first session. The treatment resulted in intense blistering, localized skin darkening, and structural texture alterations that persisted past the two-week mark. I had to seek an independent medical evaluation from a board-certified dermatologist, who had to intervene and put me on a prescription topical steroid cream to treat the tissue damage and active inflammation. Despite having an independent physician’s prescription, Removery Corporate Headquarters flatly refused to cancel my contract or issue a prorated refund for my remaining unused sessions, dismissing my medical injury as 'expected healing' to protect their strict no-refund policy. It is incredibly unsafe to force a consumer to continue an aesthetic treatment that has caused medically documented tissue damage. I have been forced to escalate this matter to a formal dispute with my lender (PatientFi), the Better Business Bureau, and the North Carolina Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. I highly advise prospective clients to be fully aware of the clinical risks and the severe lack of consumer protection before signing a financial package contract here.”

“I’ve had a great experience with Removery so far! The staff is always professional, knowledgeable, and makes me feel comfortable during every appointment. My tattoo removal process has been going really well. The tattoo on my ring finger is fading much faster than I expected, and I can definitely see a huge difference after my treatments. My back tattoo is much darker and has a lot more ink, so the progress isn’t as noticeable yet, but the team explained that darker, heavier tattoos can take more time and patience. Even though I can’t see as much fading on my back tattoo right now, I trust the process because I know the treatments are working. I appreciate that they set realistic expectations and take the time to answer all my questions. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, and I’m excited to continue my tattoo removal journey with them. I would definitely recommend Removery to anyone considering tattoo removal! 😊”

“I went for a consultation and yes I received excellent customer service by the staff there, but this place is a scam. I would seek other options in the area for tattoo removal that avoid selling packages. I was told that I would need 6-8 sessions quoting ~$2,000 to remove a half dollar size tattoo on the back of my neck. I had one session done back in 2019 and let's say about 1/3 is already removed. I went back to Frank at Tattoo Bill and he stated I would need two sessions for a fraction of the price!!! Talking about highway robbery. Just get a second opinion is all I am saying.”
