It has been almost three months since I was told there were no specialists available, although I am not sure how true that is. “DO NOT go to the Removery in Columbus GA. They take pictures of your tattoo and then they come up with a story that the technician is not there and bla bla bla. They have no intention of removing nothing, it is just a consultation and for you to go to another location. They need to close that place ASAP.”

“The staff handling the sign ups and appointments are good, and the treatment kind of works… but the primary laser tech “Laura Sterl” they have working there is absolutely awful. She makes appointments feel awkward, negative, and really uncomfortable every single time. She always has unnecessary, rude, and intrusive comments to say along with just a mean spirited, unprofessional, and quite frankly weird attitude. I’m not the only one who feels this way either apparently. Tonight I had a chat with some regulars from the restaurant I work weekends at, who are also getting their tattoos removed at Removery. They said they can’t stand Laura either but don’t want to say anything because they fear her messing up their treatment on purpose. They even said they have purposely held off or missed appointments simply due to not wanting to interact with her.. That’s just sad. If I’m being honest I have done the same at times, dreading appointments or making excuses not to go in, and not saying anything or reporting her out of fear of her “retaliating” against me somehow. It almost feels like since we have given them the money for treatment upfront already, she knows she can act and say anything she wants to you, no matter how disrespectful or rude it is, and we just have to deal with it because she’s the only technician. Tonight after realizing I wasn’t alone in feeling this way about Laura, I wanted to write this review and tell my truth.. In hopes more people would speak up as well and maybe corporate would consider hiring someone normal, kinder, and more people friendly.. I’m sure it’s hard to find new technicians but it really would make all the difference for your customers. Clearly there’s quite a few of us who have paid thousands in full so haven’t felt confident enough to speak up because we are trying to avoid the awkward appointments that we all are forced to endure with her. Aftercare instructions were given and reassurance that I would be pleasantly pleased. Laura was just as professional and coached me through the removal.
