“My experience with Removery was extremely frustrating from start to finish. I initially chose this clinic because they advertised free consultations and had appointments available quickly. On the day of my appointment, I received a call saying the specialist for eyebrow tattoo removal wouldn’t be available until three hours later, so my appointment had to be rescheduled. While I was already in my Uber, I received another call saying the specialist had a family emergency and wouldn’t be coming in at all. I had to change my trip halfway through. After that, I kept receiving emails from someone named Megan saying they had multiple openings and asking me to come in. When I finally went to the clinic, the staff told me I didn’t have an appointment, claimed they didn’t even know anyone named Megan, and treated me as if I was wasting their time—even though I had the appointment confirmation emails with me. The lack of communication, poor internal coordination, and dismissive attitude toward a customer who was simply following the instructions they had sent were completely unacceptable. They wasted my time, cost me money on transportation, and never apologized or took responsibility for their mistakes. I cannot recommend this location based on my experience.”

“El día de ayer 04/17/2026 tuve una cita para la remoción de mi tatuaje en cejas y aunque el personal fue súper amable, estoy un tanto decepcionada, ya que no es nada barato pagué $400 y cuando salí me di cuenta de que no le pasaron parejo el láser a las cejas y eso es con tal de hacerte regresar por más cesiones, solo le dieron a puntos en mi ceja pero no completa, ojo por si estás pensando hacerlo, me dejaron la ceja casi igual que como llegué y en los puntos que le dieron si elimino el pigmento, yo veo que con una cesión uviera sido suficiente si lo uvieran hecho bien, pero no lo harán para que regreses 😟”

“I first contacted Removery Bucktown within days of getting a new tattoo in a very visible location that I immediately knew I might need removed. At that point, I wasn’t sure whether I wanted selective removal so the original artist could rework it or whether I wanted the entire tattoo gone. They took the urgency of the situation seriously, helped me understand both options, and gave me time to decide. Once the tattoo had healed and I chose complete removal, they got me back in quickly and treated me that day. Angie was incredibly down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and understanding. She explained the session pricing, unlimited packages, and financing clearly without making me feel judged for regretting the tattoo. Since then, she has also helped me work through options for removing several older tattoos and a larger cover-up. I compared the pricing carefully, and the unlimited packages genuinely make sense if complete removal is the goal. You are essentially paying what full removal could cost in a best-case number of sessions, but any additional treatments needed for stubborn remaining ink are still included. Other clinics I contacted charged strictly by the session, meaning every bit of ink left behind would require another payment. That unlimited coverage was a major reason I chose Removery. My treatments have been with Anna, who is super cool, highly experienced, and very easy to trust. She checks on how my skin healed, explains what to expect, and gets through the treatment efficiently. The pain is bad, not going to lie, but it is tolerable and over surprisingly quickly. My biggest fear was trading unwanted tattoos for blistered, scarred, or permanently textured skin. After my first treatment, I had some soreness, itching, and rough dead skin that eventually shed, but no blistering, scarring, or lasting texture changes. My skin returned to feeling completely smooth, and after only four weeks I could already see lighter lines disappearing and darker black areas fading toward charcoal. Seeing how well it healed gave me the confidence to begin removing additional pieces. I honestly wish I had gone to Removery before attempting to cover tattoos I already regretted. Covering them only created larger tattoos to remove later. The process takes time and the treatments hurt, but having the opportunity to get my clear skin back is far more worthwhile. I’m very glad I trusted this location with it.”
