The staff is not hygienic or knowledgeable, and I get giant blisters raised almost a quarter inch off of the skin every time which inevitably burst and I’m sure will cause worse scarring than whatever was there to begin with. And it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment. I will shout from the rooftops, if you are considering removing a tattoo a random five year old in a back alley is better than Removery”

“I’ve been coming to this location for tattoo removal because I previously had very positive experiences with the staff. During my last couple of visits, however, I felt uncomfortable with the amount of personal small talk and questions during my appointment. I prefer to keep medical/cosmetic appointments focused on the treatment and would appreciate a little more privacy and professionalism.”

“I’m shocked by the 5 star reviews and wonder if the rating is being manipulated . I have been a client for roughly 3 1/2 years after purchasing a complete removal package. The process is agonizingly “low and slow” - my tattoo is not even half way gone. I have other tattoos being removed elsewhere and am aware that each tattoo has unique challenges but that’s not even the main point of my review, though if you are considering a package here I would highly advise against it. Don’t commit yourself to the unknown. Due to NY state law requiring laser techs to now be at least an RN, the entire staff was laid off about 2 months ago, with brand new staff being hired. That is law, not not Removery’s fault, but what IS their fault is the level of training of their new staff. They should not be on the floor if they are not fully up to speed, and the tech I saw was inexperienced, gave me super patchy results, and peppered in some medical inaccuracies to boot (such as telling me to not use MINERAL sunscreen on my tattoo because it contains chemicals and “chemicals are bad”). I found her attitude also generally offputting and really miss my old techs even if I wasn’t satisfied with the progress. If I were considering tattoo removal I would first look at out of state options like Connecticut, but if forced to do it in NY look elsewhere.”

“I had a consultation with Steven today at the 527 Atlantic Avenue location, and the whole experience was great from start to finish. The appointment process was very easy, after entering my information, I was contacted via text to schedule at the nearest location. When I asked to switch to a location closer to my job, they accommodated me right away with no issues. When I arrived, the receptionist opened the door before I even had to say anything, which was a really nice touch. Steven was friendly and welcoming, and we had some brief conversation before getting started. He explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the consultation. Overall, a really positive experience, I’m looking forward to getting started!”
