“Horrific experience, absolutely avoid Removery at all costs!!!! The staff is not hygienic or knowledgeable, and I get giant blisters raised almost a quarter inch off of the skin every time which inevitably burst and I’m sure will cause worse scarring than whatever was there to begin with. And it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment. I will shout from the rooftops, if you are considering removing a tattoo a random five year old in a back alley is better than Removery”

“I live the place and Betty is really an awesome person, from the beginning till end of the treatment. I didn’t feel any pain as she was able to manage the area forts prior the treatment. “40 minute commute just to be told to come back another day. I usually go to the Flatiron location out of convenience, but due to a busier schedule I decided to go to the Astoria location. Had an appointment for 4 PM, but due to a train delay, I was 13 minutes late. I'd assume there's no problem since my tattoo is very small and takes the Flatiron staff less than 15 minutes to complete. Got to the front desk, where I waited a few more minutes for the receptionist and was then told my appointment had been given to the next person and that I'd have to come back another day. I explained the situation, but was then told that I was a "no-show" because I arrived outside of my appointment's 15 minute window. Called customer support and was told that the grace period is 10 minutes. Not only is this inconsistent, but it is not explicitly mentioned in any confirmation emails or texts. It's not even found on the website or Google search of "Removery grace period." Don't bother going to this location. Zero regard for your time and clearly offers no training in basic customer service. At the very least, give your customers a call if you suspect they are running late before making an executive decision to waste an hour and a half of their time.”
